    2、IDED, WSE-M3G216-A POLYURETHANE FOAM 1. SCOPE The material defined by this specification is an adhesive coated open cell polyurethane foam tape. The tape is protected with a release liner. 2. APPLICATION This specification was originally released for bonding emblems to valve covers in the engine com

    3、partment. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.4 TENSILE ADHESION, min (FLTM BU 112-02, Method D, using two metal T blocks, one uncoated

    4、 and one coated with current production paint system or equivalent) 3.5 PEEL ADHESION, min (FLTM BU 112-02, Method A, except use 25 mm wide tape, substrate and foil) Original 14 days at 23 +/- 2 C 880 N/m width Aged (Condition test samples 24 h at 23 +/- 2 C prior to exposure and test within 4 h aft

    11、om the pressure sensitive adhesive so as not to interfere with normal production processing. 3.8 STORAGE STABILITY The unwind pull and ease of paper backing removal measured by hand peel examination shall not change appreciably after 12 months storage at temperatures below 32 C.
