7、austenitic alloy with a uniform distribution of carbide phase, manganese sulphide particles, and an inorganic solid lubricant in a tempered martensitic matrix. The austenitic alloy with carbide phase shall constitute 20% to 40% of the area of any radial cross section. The area fraction of inorganic
8、solid lubricant shall constitute 2.0% to 4.0% of any radial cross section. Internal voids shall not exceed 0.25 mm in any dimension when cross sections are examined in the unetched condition. 3.7 SURFACE CONDITION Surfaces shall be free of scale and rust. Nicks, cracks, burrs and depressions shall not exceed 0.25 mm in any direction. Visual inspection is to be performed under white light without the aid of magnification.
