SCOPEThe materials defined by these specifications are spunbonded, non-wovenfabrics made from continuous filaments. The fabric has a pinpoint geometricpattern tra

    3、nsferred by thermal bonding.2. APPLICATIONThis s pecification was released originally for material used as a supportfor foam seat cushion and seat-back cushion pad assemblies.3. REQUIREMENTS3.1 STATISTICAL PROCESSSupplie rs must conform to the requirements of Ford Quality SystemStand ard Q-101. A mu

    4、tually acceptable Control Plan as describedtherein is required for material/source approval. Appropriatestatist ical tools must be used to analyze process/product data sothat variation in the final product is continuously reduced.3.2 INFRARED SPECTROPHOTOMETRY AND/OR THERMAL ANALYSISFord Motor Compa

    5、ny, at its option, may conduct infrared and/ortherma l analysis of material/parts supplied to this specification.The IR spectra and ther mogram established for initial approval shallconst itute the reference standard and shall be kept on file at thedesignated material laboratory. All samples sha ll

    6、produce IR spectraand thermogram that cor respond to the reference standard when testedunder the same conditions.3.3 CONDITIONING AND TEST CONDITIONSAll test values indicated herein are based on ma terial conditioned ina control led atmosphere of 23 +/- 2 C and 50 +/- 5 % relativehumidity for not le

    12、n, construction,colour, processing or labelling of the material originally approvedunder this specification, whether or not such changes affect thematerials ability to meet the specification requirements, the Suppliershall notify Purchasing, Toxicology and the affected MaterialsEnginee ring activity

    13、 of the proposed changes and obtain the writtenapproval of the Materials Engineering activity . Test data, test samplesand a new code identification are to be submitted with the request.Substance restrictions imposed by law, regulat ions or Ford, apply to thematerials addressed by this document. The

    14、 restrictions are defined inEngineering Material Specification WSS-M99P9999-A1, unless a differentsuffix (e.g. A2 or A3 ) is specified on the engineering document for theapplication.4. APPROVAL OF MATERIALSMaterials defined by this specification must have prior approval by therespo nsible Materials

    15、Engineering activity. Suppliers desiring approval oftheir materials shall first obtain an expressi on of interest from the affectedPurchas ing, Design and Materials Engineering activity. Upon request, theSupplier shall submit to the affected Materials Engineering activity acompleted copy of their la

    16、boratory test reports, signed by a qualified andauthorized representa tive of the test facility, demonstrating full compliancewith all the requirements of this specification (test results, not nominalvalues), the material designation and code num ber, and test specimens for Fordevaluation. In additi

    17、on to meeting the requirements of this specificat ion, thematerials will be assessed for suitability for intended applications as partof the approval process. Upon approval, the material will be added to theEngineering Material Approved Source List.5.
