SCOPE The material defined by thi

    3、s specification is an unsupported expanded vinyl film. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally for material used in the manufacture of door and quarter trim panel assemblies 3. REQUIREMENTS In addition to the requirements listed herein, these materials must meet all the requirement

    4、s of WSS-M15P4-E when supplied as part of an assembly. The requirements below apply to all specification suffixes unless otherwise stated. 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materi

    5、als (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.4 APPEARANCE (FLTM BI 109-01) The color, pattern, and finish shall match the approved Design Center master sample, or shall be as specified on the engineering drawing. 3.4.1 Instrumental Color Readings* (FLTM BI 109-03) * Instrumental color readings may be required at the dis

    6、cretion of the affected Materials Engineering Activity or Trim Plant. No production batch shall deviate by more than 0.85 Delta E from the designated color master nor from the preceding production batch when measured in accordance with FLTM BI 109-03. Measure the dimensional changes of the specimen after cooling to room temperature. 3.10 RESISTANCE TO “W“ FLEX 1000 cycles (FLTM BN 102-02) The material shall show

    10、no evidence of crazing (milkiness), lifting ( peeling ) or cracking when examined after the above tests. 3.11 RESISTANCE TO ABRASION 250 cycles (FLTM BN 108-02, CS-10 wheels, 1000 g load) After the wear test, the materials wear pattern and color shall be compatible in appearance with the adjacent un

    11、abraded area of the wear test specimen. The abrasion resistance of production material shall be equal to or better than the sample approved by the Materials Engineering Activity.     15、t Material must not show any surface deterioration, color change, change in color tone (hue), or any other defects and they must be equal to or better than the sample approved by the Materials Engineering Activity. 3.16 FOGGING (SAE J1756, 3 hours at 100 heating, 21 C cooling plate, post test condit

    16、ioning 1 and 16 hours) Fog Number, min 70 Formation of clear film, droplets or crystals is cause for rejection.     17、ic film for maximum stabilization without using compounds that may cause staining. Ford Motor Company, at its option, may require confirmation of compliance when tested per FLTM AN 102-01. 3.18 COLD FLEXIBILITY AT - 35 C Shall remain flexible and not crack (FLTM BN 102-01, when bent 180 around a 7 d

    18、 at 80 +/- 2 C) 6.4 mm mandrel 3.19 RESISTANCE TO CROCKING, min (FLTM BN 107-01, AATCC Evaluation Procedure 3) Dry and Wet Rating 5 Cleaner* Rating 5 Ammoniated Glass Cleaner* Rating 5 * The material shall not exceed the above rating when the crocking cloth is saturated with currently released Ford

    19、Motor Company after market cleaner and an ammoniated glass cleaner. 3.20 ODOR, max Rating 2 (FLTM BO 131-01) 3.21 STORAGE STABILITY Material supplied in panel form shall shrink no more than 0.5 % during warehouse storage of 14 days at ambient temperature and relative humidity. 3.22 WELDABILITY The m

    20、aterial must be capable of being HF-welded under normal production conditions to the appropriate other materials released for production and/or to itself, without any difficulties and it must exhibit no faults or defects after welding. 3.23 FUNCTIONAL APPROVAL Materials being evaluated for initial a

    21、pproval to this specification shall be subjected to a production functional trial. The functional trial results shall be available to design and material engineering activities prior to material approval and release. 3.24 DEFECTS Each roll of material which shows on the average more than one defect

    22、per 10 m length, will be considered as seconds and will be returned to the supplier unless other agreement is made.     23、ers label on which are shown: shade, number of meters, allowance (compensation) date of delivery etc. Furthermore, each batch must bear a consecutive number i.e. the goods which are manufactured with one colour mix must bear the same batch number. All faults and defects within one roll must be visib

    24、ly marked with white flags on the edges, and an allowance of 50 cm be made for each defect. The allowance compensation must be on the total width of the material and it must be recorded on the label. No roll must contain more than two individual pieces. Each individual piece must be marked with a re

    25、d flag and a compensation of 50 cm must be made for it. 3.26 FLAMMABILITY (ISO 3795/SAE J369) Burn Rate, max 100 mm/minute 5.
