    2、 COVERED MOLDED PARTS WSD-M15P39-A NOT TO BE USED FOR NEW DESIGN 1. SCOPE This specification defines the minimum performance requirements for fabric covered molded seat armrests, seat bolsters, center consoles and headrests. These parts consist of polyester face fabrics, bonded to polyether foam, wh

    3、ich are cut and sewn to the desired shape and filled with high resilience (CFC) free foam. Additional in-mold inserts may be used. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally for the seat armrests, seat bolsters, centre consoles and headrests on CDW27. 3. REQUIREMENTS Material specific

    4、ation requirements are to be used for initial qualification of materials. 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.3 APPEARANCE Finished parts shall have a

    5、uniform sized cell structure with no evidence of large voids or solid spots directly beneath the fabric laminate or through the foam which may affect the serviceability. Additionally, there shall be no crushing, seam wrinkling, creasing, pattern bowing, discoloration or foam penetration in excess of

    6、 the design approved master. 3.4 FACE FABRIC SPECIFICATION PATTERN AND COLOR As specified on the Engineering Drawing. 3.5 POLYETHER LAMINATING FOAM The face fabric will be bonded to a good quality uniform cell sized polyether foam of sufficient thickness and density to ensure freedom from hard spots

    7、 or penetration. 3.6 FOAM FILLING This foam shall be a (CFC free) polyether polyurethane foam free from voids, hard spots and densification lines. Where the shape of the finished part precludes the determination of the following properties, free rise samples shall be prepared from the manufacturing

    8、process/foam formulation materials.     9、orm with the requirements as specified on the Engineering Drawing. Test method: . Place the product on a matrix that matches the surface contour of the bottom side of the part. Test area shall be put in horizontal position. Use an 80 mm diameter indentor. . Apply a force (preload) of 5 N to the test

    10、 area as indicated on the Engineering Drawing and zero the load scale and displacement scale. . Indent the product to the first displacement as shown on the Engineering Drawing at a rate of 100 +/- 20 mm/minute. After reaching this indentation, release the load at the same rate. Repeat this loading

    11、and unloading twice. . Immediately after the third unloading indent the product to the third displacement as shown on the Engineering Drawing and maintain for 30 s.     14、ea of the finished part. Cut out a 50 x 50 x 10 mm section with the fabric forming the larger side. Cover this side with white vinyl Accessory Test Material according to FLTM BN 103-01 with the glossy side uppermost and staple in place. Expose for 150 hours with the vinyl surface facing the light at

    15、 a distance of 300 mm. 3.11 FOGGING (FLTM BO 116-03, 3 h at 100 +/- 2 C heating, 21 C cooling) Fog Number, min 70 The formation of droplets or coalescence into a clear film is cause for rejection. 3.12 RESISTANCE TO XENON ARC EXPOSURE Select a relatively flat section of the part. Cut out a 70 x 140

    16、x 10 mm thick section with the fabric forming the larger side to be exposed. After exposure the part shall show no fading or color tone change in excess of the approved cover material when evaluated using the AATCC Grey Scale (AATCC Grey Scale for Evaluating Change in Color Method AATCC Evaluation P
