SCOPEThe material defined by this specification is a po

    2、lyeste r seat belt webbingwoven with continuous filament yarn and finished selvage s. Proper dyes anddyeing procedures shall be employed to provide acceptable colors,app earance, and physical properties. Color stripping for redyeing ofwebbi ng rejected for color is not allowed. The webbing shall be

    3、of goodquality and uniform construction.2. APPLICATIONThis s pecification was released originally for material used for metal tometal type seat belts on Integrated Child Seat systems.3. REQUIREMENTSTest Method Procedures: All webbing properties denoted by L shall be testedin accordance with Federal

    4、Moto r Vehicle Safety Standard Nos. 209 and 213.DE req uirements listed in any of the following paragraphs are intended asmaximum target values. Visual ratings will take precedence.3.1 STATISTICAL PROCESSSupplie rs must conform to the requirements of Ford Quality SystemStand ard Q-101. A mutually ac

    5、ceptable Control Plan as describedtherein is required for material/source approval.     18、neering drawing.3.22 SUPPLIERS RESPONSIBILITYAll materials supplied to this specification must be equ ivalent in allchar acteristics to the material upon which approval was originallygranted.Pri or to making any changes in the properties, composition,construction, color, processing or labeling of th

    19、e mater ial originallyapproved under this specificati on, whether or not such changes affectthe materials ability to meet the specification requirements, theSupplier shall notify Purchasing, Toxicology and the affected Materials Engineering activity of the proposed changesand obtain the written appr

    20、oval of the Materials Enginee ring activity.Test data , test samples and a new code identification are to besubmitted with the request.Substance restrictions imposed by law, regulations or Ford apply toth e materials addressed by this document. The restrictions aredefined in Engineering Material spe

    21、cification WSS-M99P9999-A1, unlessa differ ent suffix (e.g., A2 or A3) is specified on the engineeringdocument for the application.4. APPROVAL OF MATERIALSMaterials defined by this specification must have prior approval by theresponsible Materials Engineeri ng activity. Suppliers desiring approval o

    22、ftheir mat erials shall first obtain an expression of interest from theaffecte d Purchasing, Design and Materials Engineering activity. Uponrequest, the Supplier shall submit to the affected Materials Engineeringact ivity a completed copy of their laboratory test reports, signed by aqualified and au

    23、thorized repres entative of the test facility, demonstratingfu ll compliance with all the requirements of this specification (testresults, not nominal values), t he material designation and code number, andtest spec imens for Ford evaluation. Fords engineering approval of amateria l will be based on

    24、 its performance to this specification and on anassessment of suitability for i ntended processes and/or applications.
