SCOPE The material defined by this specification is thermoplastic blow molding compound based on styrene modified polyphenylene ether. 2. APPLICATION T

    3、his specification was released originally for material used for deck lid spoilers. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.0.1 All requirem

    4、ents of this specification, identified by symbol (s), shall be met with data representing 3 sigma values using latest ISO test methods. 3.0.2 This specification is based on virgin material only. The use of in-house regrind is not allowed unless the part is validated during PV testing with the docume

    5、nted level of regrind noted on the part drawing. 3.4 MOLDING COMPOUND (s) 3.4.1 Melt Flow Rate 8 - 14 g/10 minutes (ISO 1133, 250 C, 10 kg) The material shall be dried for 30 minutes min at 95 C in a mechanical convection oven immediately preceding the test. 3.5 MOLDED TEST SPECIMEN 3.5.1 Preparatio

    6、n of Test Specimens Unless otherwise specified all tests shall be carried out on injection molded one-end gated test specimens. The following dimensions are required: A. 150 min x 10 x 4.0 +/- 0.2 mm (Tensile Bar, ISO 3167) B. 120 x 10 x 4.0 +/- 0.2 mm Specimens with shorter dimensions shall be cut

    7、from the center portion of the test specimen A and/or B. The specimen shall be prepared according to ISO 294. No annealing allowed. A tensile stress versus strain curve must be provided using one specimen per lot at each of the following temperatures: -40 C, 23 C, 80 C and 105 C (Page 4).
