    3、TTERN, WARP KNIT, WSS-M1H1231-A11 100% VIRGIN WITH SOIL REPELLANT FABRIC, VIEW PATTERN, WARP KNIT, WRS-M1H1231-A21 RECYCLED, PIR/PCR CONTENT WITH SOIL REPELLANT 1. SCOPE The material defined is a warp knit polyester face fabric. Material conforming to WRS-M1H1231-A contains 25% Minimum PIR/PCR (Post

    4、 industrial/post consumer) recycled yarn. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally for material used as an interior trim fabric for Escape 2012 seat insert and bolster. The fabric was originally approved as tri laminated with foam and backing fabric/scrim. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.1 APPROV

    5、ED SOURCES This specification requires the use of approved sources. Only the sources identified on the Ford Approved Source List (ASL) can be used when this specification is listed on the drawing, CAD file, or other documents. The list of approved sources is located within Ford at or available exte

    6、rnally through a Ford Materials Engineer. 3.2 WSS-M1H1231-A2 and A11. This specification is based on virgin materials. 3.3 WSR- M1H1231-A and A21. This specification must contain 25% minimum recycled content as defined by WRS-M99P42-A2/latest. The remaining portion of the material can come from virg

    7、in sources. 3.4 APPPEARANCE The color, pattern, and finish shall match the approved Corporate Design master sample. 3.5 FABRIC PERFORMANCE In addition to the requirements listed herein, the fabric shall meet all requirements of WSS-M8P18- A1/A2/A3/A4/latest as applicable. 3.6 VEHICLE INTERIOR ENVIRO

    9、lity Material/Component Requirements. Data must be included in material submission package. 3.7 CONDITIONING AND TEST CONDITIONS All test values are based on material conditioned for not less than 24 h prior to testing in a controlled environment of 23 +/- 2 C and 50 +/- 5% relative humidity. Testin

    10、g of the material should occur in the conditioning environment or soon after removal. 3.8 FABRIC CONSTRUCTION 3.8.1 Fabric Count, -5 /+ 10 % tolerance (ASTM D3775) Wales 130 / 10 cm Courses 240 / 10 cm 3.8.2 Fabric Weight, +/-5 % tolerance 260 g/m2 (FLTM BN 106-01) 3.9 COMPOSITION (ASTM D629) Fabric

GENERAL INFORMATION The infor

    13、mation given below is provided for clarification and assistance in meeting the requirements of this specification. Contact for questions concerning Engineering Material Specifications. 4.1 Purchase departments will ensure that the material defined in this specification and shipped to any one assemb

    14、ly plant will be produced by one supplier only. In the event of a Global Program or Regional duplication, each regional location of the supplier for this specification must provide a Construction package and be approved to meet this specification. The fabric must also meet the requirements of WSS-M8P18-A1/A2/A3/A4/latest. 4.3 Global strategy for this fabric

    16、is to use tri-laminate/foam & scrim construction in all regions. 4.4 APPROVAL OF MATERIALS Suppliers desiring approval of their materials shall first obtain an expression of interest from Purchasing, Design or Product Development, and Materials Engineering. The supplier shall submit a completed copy

    17、 of their laboratory test reports, signed by a qualified and authorized representative of the test facility, demonstrating full compliance with all the requirements of the Material Specification. Tested material samples must be available for review upon request and kept for a minimum of one year. Up

    18、on request, the supplier will review the associated quality control documents (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, Control Plans, Certification testing) with Ford. 4.5 SUPPLIERS ONGOING RESPONSIBILITY All materials must be equivalent in all characteristics to the material upon which approval

    19、was originally granted. Prior to making any changes to the material originally approved, whether or not such changes affect the materials ability to meet the specification requirements, the supplier shall notify the affected Supplier Technical Assistance (STA), Purchasing, and Materials Engineering

    20、activities of the proposed changes (with reasons) by submission of a completed Suppliers Request for Engineering Approval, SREA. For parts and components using Ford Engineering Material Specifications, all samples tested to the specifications for Design Verification (DV), Production Verification (PV

    21、) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) sign off must be kept until Job 1. 4.6 RESTRICTED SUBSTANCE MANAGEMENT STANDARD Substance restrictions imposed by regulations or Company direction applies to the materials addressed by this document. The restrictions are identified in the Restricted Subs

    22、tance Management Standard WSS-M99P9999-A/latest which is updated yearly. It is the suppliers responsibility to comply with this standard on a continuing basis. 5.
