3、Test Conditions All test values indicated herein are based on material conditioned in a controlled atmosphere of 23 +/- 2 OC and 50 +/- 5 % relative humidity for not less than 24 h prior to testing and tested under the same conditions unless otherwise specified. Procedure 1. Prepare a hose test spec
4、imen with braid and fitting at one end as shown in Figure 1. 2. Clean the inner surface of the test specimen first with solvent per ASTM D 235, then with isopropyl alcohol to remove any surface contamination. Thoroughly dry at 23 +/- 2 “C. Assemble the electrode adapter #MS21900 to the fitting end of the hose. Assemble a salt or mercury electrode in the upper end of the tube
6、test specimen. Immerse the lower half of the assembly in the specified salt solution in a vertical position. Apply a potential of 1 O00 volts between the upper and lower electrode.
