SCOPE The material defined by this specification is a molding compound based on polypropylene homopolymer cooling agent and heat stabilized. The material is natural colored and remains translucent when exposed t

    3、o cooling agent at boiling temperature. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally for material used for the overflow bottle of cooling system. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standar

    4、d Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.4 MOLDING COMPOUND 3.4.1 Melt Flow Rate, max. 2.0 g/10 min (ISO 1133, 230 C, 2.16 kg) 3.5 MOLDED TEST SPECIMEN 3.5.1 Preparation of Test Specimens Unless otherwise specified all tests shall be carried out on injection molded one end gated t

    5、est specimens. The specimens shall be prepared according to ISO 294. No annealing allowed. 3.5.2 Density 0.900 0.905 g/cm3(ISO R 1183, Method A) 3.5.3 Tensile Strength at Yield, min. 30 MPa (ISO R 527, Type 1, 3.2 +/- 0.1 mm specimen thickness, 50 mm/min test speed) 3.5.3.1 Elongation at Yield, min.

The plotted curve must be within tolerance range shown o

Low temperature testing shall be done within the cold box, if not possible, test can be conducted outside, but within 5 s. 3.5.7 Heat Deflection Temperature, min.     10、IAL REQUIREMENTS 3.6.1 Cooling Agent Resistance No break after ageing. In addition, specimens must remain translucent. Slight yellowing is permitted. TEST METHOD: ISO 180/4 specimens unnotched. Ten specimens shall be subjected to boiling glycol water solution (50:50% by volume) under reflux condense

    11、r for 42 days. (Glycol according to specification SS-M97B9103-A). Subsequently, specimens shall be conditioned at 23 +/- 2 C and 50 +/- 5% relative humidity for 24 h prior to test for impact resistance.     12、 3 of 4 3.6.2 Thermal Oxidative Stability, min. 50 d The material shall show any deterioration or local brittleness within the required exposure time. TEST METHOD: Expose at least 5 specimens 60 x 10 x 1 +/- 0.1 mm in a drying oven* with forced air circulation maintained at 140 +/- 1 C. For this pur

    13、pose drill a hole of 3.5 mm in dia. through one end of the test specimens and suspend on a glass rod of approx. 3 mm in dia. taking care that specimens do not contact each other during the exposure and are freely accessible by the surrounding heated air. Control of temperature shall be conducted in

    14、the immediate vicinity of the specimens by 2 thermo couples. *The drying oven shall be of the forced air circulating type with vertical air guidance and an air velocity of 7.5 +/- 1 m/s. Internal dimensions shall be 500 mm wide, 400 mm high and 400 mm deep. Maximum temperature deviation +/- 1 C. 5.
