SCOPE The material defined by this specification is a nitrile butadiene rubber having restricted modulus and compression set and good resistance to refrigerant and compressor oil. 2. AP

    3、PLICATION This specification was released originally for material used to mold “O“ rings used as seals in the air conditioning system. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Produ

    11、.6 Low Temperature Brittleness Must pass (5 h at -40 C, figure 8 bend) 3.4 SURFACE FINISH The “O“ ring shall be very smooth and the sealing surfaces shall be free from mold tool marks, loose mold flash, trimming nicks, blemishes or irregularities and imperfections. The sealing surfaces shall be free of obvious surface contaminants such as bloom, talc or mold release. All tooling used in molding these parts shall be of at least “commercial quality“ as defined by RMA.
