APPLICATION This specification was released originally for material used as gasketing for air cleaners. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.0 STANDARD
3、REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.1 THICKNESS As specified on engineering drawing 3.2 DENSITY 3.5 - 4.2 lb/ft3 (56 - 67 kg/m3) (ASTM D 297) 3.3 TENSILE STRENGTH,
4、min 28 psi (193 kPa) (ASTM D 1564, Die “A“) Elongation, min 225% 3.4 TEAR RESISTANCE, min 4 lb/in (0.7 kN/m) (ASTM D 1564) 3.5 COMPRESSION SET, max 10% (ASTM D 1564, Method “B“, 22 h at 70 +/- l C, 50% constant deflection) 3.6 RESISTANCE TO DETERIORATION No visible degradation (FLTM BO 012-01, steps

8、l be free from internal defects such as cold shuts, folds, laps and tears. 3.11 OZONE RATING Must meet ESB-M9P1-A (FLTM BP 101-01) 3.12 FLAMMABILITY, max 12 in (304 mm)/min (SAE J 369) In addition, the test specimen shall not exhibit any flashing or sudden flaming on either surface in excess of the above maximum value.
