SCOPE The material defined by this specification is a mylar film with pigmented base that is transferred to plastic parts by hot stamping. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally for material used for the lettering o
3、n instrument cluster dials. 3. REQUIREMENTS After application on plastics (production part). 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.1 CYCLE TEST No change after 6 cycles Test Method (cycle): 8 h humidity (98% R.H. at 38 C) 16 h cold box (-29 C) 8 h oven (70 C) 16 h fadeometer 3.2 HUMIDITY No change (100 h, 98% R.H. at 38 C) 3.3 FADEOMETER No change (SAE J 1885, 100 h) 3.4 COLOR As specified on engineering drawing and/or release.
