SCOPE This specification defines the basic physical requirements for a toothed drive belt based on polychloroprene rubber with a double layer of polyamide facing fabric and glass fiber tension

    3、cords. The belt is suitable for use where continuous service temperatures of up to 100 C are experienced but excessive oil contact should be avoided. 2. APPLICATION This timing belt is used to drive components such as camshaft, injector pump and/or auxiliary engine parts. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.0 STANDAR

    4、D REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.4 SHEAR MODULUS (ISO 4663 METHOD A) FORD MOTOR COMPANY, at its option, may determine the Shear Modulus of the material supplie

    5、d to this specification over the temperature range -50 to +150 C. The resulting curve shall constitute the reference standard and shall be kept by the designated Materials Laboratory. All subsequent samples shall correspond to the reference sample when tested under the same conditions. 3.5 PERFORMAN

    6、CE REQUIREMENTS The belt shall conform to the appropriate Engineering Specification as required by the relevant Engineering Drawing. 3.6 CONSTRUCTION Note that fabric constructions are for unproofed textile. Samples taken from actual belts will have changed properties due to stretch in manufacture.

    7、3.7 POLYCHLOROPRENE RUBBER 3.7.2 TESTING OF STANDARD TEST SPECIMENS All tests are to be carried out on sheet samples (150 mm x 150 mm min. x 1.9 mm - 2.1 mm), molded from the same material and with an equivalent state of cure as that of the finished part. One of the cylinders shall t

B) All lowest valley loads shall not be

(Separate samples). 3.10.5 OZONE RESISTANCE Rating 0 max (FLTM BP 101-01) TEST METHOD Test specimen to comprise a section of belt (flat surface outward) bent around a 50 mm mandrel. 3.10.6 LOW TE
