SCOPE The material defined by this specification is an alloy of polyphenylene ether (PPE), high impact polystyrene modified injection molding compound. 2. APPLICATION This s

    3、pecification was released originally for material used to manufacture decorative instrument panel components. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P

    4、1111-A). 3.4 MOLDING COMPOUND 3.4.1 Melt Viscosity 110 - 215 Pa.s (ASTM D 3835, stock temperature - 282 C, shear rate, 1500 s-1, preheat 4 minutes, capillary dimension - 20:1 ratio) 3.5 MOLDED TEST SPECIMEN 3.5.1 Preparation of Test Specimens All test specimens shall be injection molded in accordanc

    5、e with ASTM D 1897. The values of this specification are based on injection molded specimens unless otherwise specified. 3.5.2 Density 1.03 - 1.09 g/cm3(ASTM D 792) 3.5.3 Tensile Strength at Max Load, min 34.5 MPa (ASTM D 638, Type I specimen, 3.2 mm thickness, 50 mm/min test speed) Elongation at Br
