、R HOOK AND PILE FASTENERS NOT TO BE USED FOR NEW DESIGN 1. SCOPE This specification defines the performance of a pressure sensitive adhesive applied to woven or molded nylon tape fasteners. 2. APPLICATION The adhesive bonded hook and pile fastener tape was originally released to attach the panel ass

、embly - package tray to the painted upper back panel sheet metal. Compliance with the performance requirements of this specification does not guarantee adhesive bonded hook and/or pile fasteners will function for all applications within the vehicle. The specific substrates, environments, and load co

REQUIREMENTS 3.1 CONDITIONING All test values indicated herein are based on material conditioned in a controlled atmosphere of 23 +/- 2 C and 50 +/- 5 % relative humidity for 24 h prior to testing, and tested under the same controll

、ed conditions. 3.2 INFRARED SPECTROPHOTOMETRY Ford Motor Company, at its option, may conduct infrared analysis of material/parts supplied to this specification. The spectra established for initial approval shall constitute the reference standard, and shall be kept on file at Ford. All samples shall

、produce spectographs that correspond to the reference standard when tested under the same conditions as those specified on the master spectra. 3.3 PEEL ADHESION, min. N/mm The minimum adhesion values indicated shall be obtained when test specimens are bonded to the substrates indicated in para. 5.2,
