Jitter Buffers are required in packet-based communications, such as 3GPP MTSI 2, to smooth the inter-arrival jitter of i

    36、ncoming media packets for uninterrupted playout. The solution is used in conjunction with the EVS decoder and can also be used for AMR 4 and AMR-WB 5. It is optimized for the Multimedia Telephony Service for IMS (MTSI) and fulfils the requirements for delay and jitter-induced concealment operations
