Foreword This Harmonized European Standard (EN) has been produced by ET

    4、SI Technical Committee Electromagnetic compatibility and Radio spectrum Matters (ERM). The present document has been produced by ETSI in response to a mandate from the European Commission issued under Directive 98/34/EC i.1 as amended by Directive 98/48/EC i.9. The title and reference to the present

    5、 document are intended to be included in the publication in the Official Journal of the European Union of titles and references of Harmonized Standard under the Directive 1999/5/EC i.2. See article 5.1 of Directive 1999/5/EC i.2 for information on presumption of conformity and Harmonised Standards o

    6、r parts thereof the references of which have been published in the Official Journal of the European Union. The requirements relevant to Directive 1999/5/EC i.2 are summarised in annex A. The present document is part 2 of a multi-part deliverable covering Electromagnetic compatibility and Radio spect

    7、rum Matters (ERM); Short Range Devices, Road Transport and Traffic Telematics (RTTT); Short range radar equipment operating in the 24 GHz range, as identified below: Part 1: “Technical requirements and methods of measurement“; Part 2: “Harmonized EN covering the essential requirements of article 3.2

    8、 of the R for ultra low power motion and distance monitoring radars for mobile applications only; the operating frequency range for intentional UWB emissions has been determined for the range of 22,000 GHz to 26,65 GHz until 30thJune 2013 and from 24,25 GHz to 26,65 GHz until 1stJanuary 2018. Howeve

    9、r, the date of 1 January 2018 will be extended by 4 years for automotive short-range radar equipment mounted on motor vehicles for which a type approval application has been submitted pursuant to Article 6(6) of Directive 2007/46/EC i.8 and has been granted before 1stJanuary 2018. The applicability

    10、of the present document covers only the 24 GHz Short Range Radar (SRR) for road vehicles. The present document does not necessarily include all the characteristics which may be required by a user, nor does it necessarily represent the optimum performance achievable. NOTE: Member States of the Europe

    11、an Union are requested to prohibit the taking into service of equipment covered by the present document after a date defined in Commission Decision 2005/50/EC i.7. The present document covers transmitters intended to operate in a temporary frequency designation under the EU Commission decision on 24

    12、 GHz SRR EC 2005/50/EC i.7 and the amendment as presented in RSCOM11-21 i.7. The present document is intended to cover the provisions of Directive 1999/5/EC (R Short Range Devices; Road Transport and Traffic Telematics (RTTT); Short range radar equipment operating in the 24 GHz range; Part 1: Techni

    16、d Standards for application under the R - the value of the measurement uncertainty for the measurement of each parameter shall be included in the test report; - the recorded value of the measurement uncertainty shall be, for each measurement, equal to or lower than the figures in table 1. For the te

    17、st methods, according to the present document, the measurement uncertainty figures shall be calculated in accordance with TR 100 028 2 and shall correspond to an expansion factor (coverage factor) k = 1,96 or k = 2 (which provide confidence levels of respectively 95 % and 95,45 % in the case where t

    18、he distributions characterizing the actual measurement uncertainties are normal (Gaussian). Table 1 is based on such expansion factors.     22、ements in words and by cross reference to (a) specific clause(s) in the present document or to (a) specific clause(s) in (a) specific referenced document(s); it provides a statement of all the test procedures corresponding to those requirements by cross reference to (a) specific clause(s) in the pre

    23、sent document or to (a) specific clause(s) in (a) specific referenced document(s); it qualifies each requirement to be either: - Unconditional: meaning that the requirement applies in all circumstances; or - Conditional: meaning that the requirement is dependent on the manufacturer having chosen to

    24、support optional functionality defined within the schedule. in the case of Conditional requirements, it associates the requirement with the particular optional service or functionality; it qualifies each test procedure to be either: - Essential: meaning that it is included with the Essential Radio T

    25、est Suite and therefore the requirement shall be demonstrated to be met in accordance with the referenced procedures; - Other: meaning that the test procedure is illustrative but other means of demonstrating compliance with the requirement are permitted.     26、st specifications Table (HS-RTT) Harmonized Standard EN 302 288-2 The following requirements and test specifications are relevant to the presumption of conformity under the article 3.2 of the R those designated “O“ make up the Other Test Suite; for those designated “X“ there is no test specified cor

    27、responding to the requirement. The completion of all tests classified “E“ as specified with satisfactory outcomes is a necessary condition for a presumption of conformity. Compliance with requirements associated with tests classified “O“ or “X“ is a necessary condition for presumption of conformity,

    28、 although conformance with the requirement may be claimed by an equivalent test or by manufacturers assertion supported by appropriate entries in the technical construction file.
