    9、edes PD CEN/CLC TR 16103:2010 which is withdrawn.BSI, as a member of CEN, is obliged to publish EN ISO/IEC 13273-1:2016 as a British Standard. However, during the development of this document as an International Standard the UK committee voted against its approval.The UK committee is of the opinion

    10、that some of the terms defined are not commonly used in the UK and there are alternative terms which are used more widely. In addition, the committee considered that many of the definitions were insufficiently practical to be of use to typical users of standards, and that the adoption of this standa

The terms were selected based upon their relevance and transverse nature. This International Standard is a horizontal sta

    46、ndard in accordance with IEC Guide 108. It addresses the fundamental principles and concepts of energy efficiency and energy management terminology, which is relevant to a number of technical committees, with the goal of improving coherence and common characteristics for energy terms. This Internati

    47、onal Standard does not address terms specific to topics such as environmental sustainability or nuclear energy but rather transverse energy terminology.It is intended to be of help to technical practitioners and other interested parties who either use or develop International Standards in these subj
