    23、testpieces Thetestpiecesshallbemadefromhotrolledsteelplates,gradeS275accordingtoEN10025.Thesizeofthetest piecesshallbe1000 1000mmwithanominalthicknessof10mm.Alltestpiecesusedinaseriesoftestsshall originatefromthesamecharge(heat).Thepartsshallhavesmooth,flat,undamagedsurfaces. Aseriesshallincludeonet

    24、estpiecewhichisabrasivelyblasteduntilSA2(ENISO85011:1988).Oneormore testpiece(s)shallbecoatedwithshopprimerinaccordancewiththesuppliersrecommendationsforthetypeof shopprimerbeingassessed.Onetestpieceshallbeleftuncoated. Thethicknessoftheshopprimershallbeuniformandinaccordancewiththesuppliersrecommen

    25、dation.Unless otherwisespecified,thespecimenscanbecutafteradryingperiodofatleast10daysatasurfacetemperature above10 o Cbutbelow40 o Candataminimumairhumidityof50%.Alternativeconditionsforstorageshallbe monitoredandreportedinthetestreport. Thethicknessshallbechecked,e.g.,byuseofsmallsmoothsteelplates

    33、2and3 butnotinzone4.Ifthishasnotbeenobtained,anewcutshallbemade,usinganew v P ,higherorloweras appropriate.The v P forwhichthecriteriaarefulfilledistermed v P , R andshallberegistered.Thetestplateshallhave cooledtoroomtemperaturebeforeeachcutisstarted. Morethanoneplatemaybecutincasemorethanoneshoppr

    34、imeristobetestedorinordertoprovidesufficient materialforcutting. 4.6 Finalcuttingoftestplatewithoutshopprimer Whencuttingoftestplate(s)withshopprimerhasbeenterminated,onemorecutshallbemadeintheplatewithout shopprimer,usingthespeed v 0 , R .Thequalityshallbeacceptableinzones1,2and3butnotinzone4.Ifthi

    35、sisnot obtained,thetestconditionshavenotbeenstableandtheentireseriesoftestsshallberepeated. Thereisariskthatthecuttingnozzlegetsoiledbyalayerofoxideatthetip.Thissoilinghasaconsiderably influenceonthemaximumcuttingspeedandifpossibleitshallbeprevented. Cuttingnozzlesmaybecleanedbutnotexchangedduringas

    36、ingleseriesoftests.Thecuttingnozzleshallbe inspectedandifnecessarybechangedbeforestartinganewseries.
