    27、rd IS0 (the International Organization for Standardization) is a worldwide federation of national standards bodies (IS0 member bodies). The work of preparing International Standards is normally carried out through IS0 technical committees. Each member body interested in a subject for which a technic

    31、 85-2 was prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 188, Small crafi. IS0 6185-2, together with IS0 6185-1 and IS0 6185-3, cancel and replace IS0 6185:1982. They differ significantly from IS0 61851982 as they cover boats made from unsupported materials, whereas the latter only covered boats made from r

IS0 61 85 consists of the following parts, under the general title lnflafable boafs: - Par 1: Boafs wifh a maximum mofor power rafing of 4,5 kW - Par 2: Boafs wifh a maximum mofor power rafing of 4,5 kW fo 15 kW inclusive - Par 3: Boafs wifh a maximum mofor power rafing of 15 kW

V EN IS0 6185-22001 I n t rod uct io n IS0 6185 is subdivided into three parts as shown in Figure 1 It excludes: - single-chambered boats, - boats of buoyancy less than 1 800 N, - boats made from

    34、unsupported materials of more than 12 kN inflated buoyancy and powered by motors exceeding 43 kW, and - boats greater than 8 m in overall length. It is not applicable to: - aquatic toys, and - inflatable liferafts Part 1: Type I Type II Type III Canoes and kayaks. Type IV Boats propelled exclusively

    37、um motor power rating of 43 kW to 15 kW inclusive 1 Scope This part of IS0 6185 specifies the minimum safety characteristics required for the design, materials to use, manufacture and testing of inflatable boats (including rigid inflatable boats) less than 8 m in overall length with a minimum buoyan

    38、cy of 1 800 N. This part of IS0 6185 is applicable to the following types of inflatable boats, intended for use within the operating temperatures of - 15 OC to + 60 OC: - Type V: Inflatable boats capable of taking a motor power rating of 43 kW to 15 kW inclusive; - Type VI: Inflatable craft propelle

    39、d by sail with a sail area greater than 6 m2 (see normative annex A). NOTE greater, refer to IS0 61 85-3. For boats with power ratings of 43 kW and less, refer IS0 6185-1, and for boats with power ratings of 15 kW and This part of IS0 6185 excludes single-chambered boats and boats made from unsuppor

    47、ant structure (hull), achieving all or part of its intended shape and buoyancy by the medium of inflation and which is intended for the transportation of people and/or loads on the water, and where the design and shape of it gives it the capability of withstanding forces and movements arising from s

    48、ea conditions 3.2 rigid inflatable boat RIB inflatable boat (3.1) with the lower part of the hull constructed as a rigid unit and the topsides (inflatable hull) achieving its intended shape and buoyancy (or part thereof) by the medium of inflation 3.3 buoyancy of the boat volume of any chamber, whic
