    22、 to assess the ability of components to withstand specified severities of random vibration. 2 Normative references The following normative documents contain provisions which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this section of IEC 60512-6. Amendment 1 (1983) 3 Preparation of the specimen 3.1 Specim

    27、ens shall be equipped with their normal accessories, mounted, and wired as specified by the detail specification. 3.2 Details of the monitoring circuit, including the method and attachment points of sensors on the specimen shall be specified. 3.3 A minimum of 200 mm of wire or cable shall be unsuppo

    28、rted on both ends of the specimen, unless the detail specification states otherwise. The wire or cable shall be secured to the vibration fixture bottom plate (or in a similar location). 3.4 When required by the detail specification, the specimens shall be mated and unmated as many times as specified

    29、 prior to the test.     30、fied in the detail specification. a 5 Test conditions 5.1 The specimens shall be vibrated in each of three mutually perpendicular directions, one of which shall be parallel to the engagement direction. 5.2 The vibration magnitude shall be monitored (for controlling the generator) at locations as nea

    31、r as possible to the specimen mounting points. 5.3 The environment temperature, if other than ambient, shall be specified. 6 Measurements 6.1 Initial measurements shall be carried out as specified by the detail specification. 6.2 Measurements during the test 6.2.1 Unless otherwise specified by the d

    32、etail specification, monitoring of electrical continuity shall be carried out according to IEC 60512-2, Test 2e IEC 60512-2-5*. The contacts and screen as specified in the detail specification shall be connected in series when monitoring con tin u i ty. 6.2.2 The electrical load condition shall be 1

    33、00 mA for all contacts unless otherwise specified. 6.3 Final measurements The specimens shall be electrically and mechanically checked as required by the detail specification. 7 Details to be specified a) Mounting and wiring of specimens including type of accessories to be fitted (if any); b) number

    34、 of mechanical operations (if necessary); c) duration of conditioning; d) frequency range; e) acceleration spectral density levels; 4 Publication number of the planned future edition.     37、if possible) of fixtures, mounting and wiring of specimens; d) test equipment used and calibration due date; e) electrical load applied; f) test severity (conditions used), acceleration spectral density level; g) test duration, for each axis; h) any conditioning (mating and unmating cycles) of the s
