This European Standard has been prepared under a mandate given to CENELEC by the European Commission and cover

This European Standard should also be used as family standard; it is also addressed to product committees, which are free to adopt it for their needs. The text of the draft was submitted to the formal vote and was approved by CENELEC as EN

    14、 50090-2-2 on 1996-10-01. The following dates were fixed: EN 50090-2-2 is part of the EN 50090 series of European Standards, which will comprise the following parts: Part 1: Standardization structure; Part 2: System overview; Part 3: Aspects of application; Part 4: Transport layer and network layer;

    15、 Part 5: Media and media dependent layers; Part 6: Interfaces; Part 7: System Management; Part 8: Conformity; Part 9: Installation requirements.     16、cope, to eliminate the restriction by SELV or PELV (Clause 1); reduction of the electrical strength test from 2,5 kV AC to 2,0 kV AC, 5 minutes (5.2.3.3 and 5.2.3.4); clarification if product standards exist or not (5.2.4.2 and Clause 6); clarification on “Simple separation” and “Protective separati

    33、European Standard defines the general technical requirements of a Home and Building Electronic System (HBES). It concerns cabling and topology, electrical safety for HBES device parts, in particular based on SELV or PELV, functional safety, environmental conditions, EMC requirements and behaviour in

    34、 case of failures as well as specific HBES installation rules. This standard covers the interface of devices and equipment providing connection to the HBES as well as separately mounted HBES equipment. Parts of devices and equipment not providing HBES functionality are not covered by this standard.

    35、This standard is used as a product family standard. The electrical safety part is not intended to be used as a stand-alone standard. The safety requirements of this standard apply either together with the relevant product standard for the device or together with the basic safety standards if no prod
