This isapplicable, since mistakes lead to

    45、substantial general hazards (seeAnnex A)and because the tension in thewebbing used withhand-operated web lashings leads to similar or more severehazardsaswithmechanicallyoperatedlashing winches.The requirements of clause5, the tests in clause 6,and the users instructions have beenharmonized such tha

    46、tduringproper useofwebbings and tensioningdevices conforming to this standard theseare designed anddimensioned such that thefollowing hazards are taken into account, if they are used in accordancewith themanufacturersinstructions:a) Hazardsofbeinghit by tiltingorshiftingloads,losingbalanceorfallingd

    47、uringapplicationand tensioningof the lashings due to defective equipment, sudden breakage or malfunction of the tensioning deviceleading to the suddenabsenceof thehand reactionforce.b) Injuriesbypinchingand shearing,handandarminjuries duringmanipulationof tensioningdevices due tosharpedges.c) Hazard

    48、s to the unloadingpersonneldue toloadshavingmovedor being tiltedduringtransportbecauseofinadequate securing, malfunctionlike recoil or breakage of equipment or defectiveequipment and thenwhichmay fallonto thepersonnel,especiallywhenopening the side-panels.d) Hazards due to wrong combinations made up
