    17、e 11 1500 Vac NOTE I: After electrical endurance testing, the points of application of the test voltage shall be from terminals to ground only. 1.10 Increased severities or requirements which are additional to those specified in the generic and/or sectional specification 1.10.1 Explosion Object: The

    18、 objective of the test is to assess whether a switch, while operating, will ignite an ambient explosive atmosphere prevalent in aircraft applications. This test is not necessary for switches which are enclosed in housings (casings) designed to prevent flame or explosion propagation. Test Method: Swi

    19、tches shall be tested in accordance with Method 109 of MIL-STD-202. Switches shall be operated at their maximum rated dc inductive current at the rated voltage. Criteria: The explosive mixture in the test chamber surrounding and external to the switch shall not explode whether or not an explosion oc

    20、curs within the switch. Switches shall be electrically operable after the test. Inspection Requirements 2.1

    21、 Qualification Approval inspection requirements shall be in accordance with Table III for multiple product approvals. 2.2 Quality Conformance Inspection requirements are prescribed in Table IV for lot-by-lot inspections and Table VI for periodic inspections. For visual examination, the clarification
