This drawing describes the requirements for a high power, double tab resistor with a flange mount. 1.2 Part or Identifying Number (PIN).     6、I) 2. APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS 2.1 General. The documents listed in this section are specified in sections 3, 4, and 5 of this specification. This section does not include documents cited in other sections of this specification or recommended for additional information or as examples. While every effort

The individual item requirements shall be in accordance with MIL-PRF-55342 and as specified herein. 3.2 Interface and physical dimensions. The resistor shal

    15、l meet the interface and physical dimensions as specified in MIL-PRF-55342 and herein (see figure 1). 3.3 Electrical characteristics. 3.3.1 Power rating. The rated power shall be 10 watts from -55C to +100C. For operation at temperatures higher than 100C derate in accordance with figure 2. 3.3.2 Res

    16、istance values. The resistance shall be in accordance with table I. TABLE I. Nominal resistance values.     17、ll be from dc to 4 GHz. 3.3.5 Voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR). The VSWR shall be 1.35:1. 3.3.6 Temperature range. The temperature range shall be from -55C to +150C. 3.3.7 DC resistance. When resistors are tested as specified in 4.6, the dc resistance shall be within the specified tolerance of the

    18、 nominal resistance. 3.3.8 Thermal shock. When resistors are tested as specified in 4.7, there shall be no evidence of mechanical damage; the resistance shall be within the specified initial resistance tolerance of the nominal resistance. 3.3.9 Power conditioning. When resistors are tested in accord

    19、ance with 4.8, the resistance shall be within the specified initial resistance tolerance of the nominal resistance. There shall be no evidence of mechanical damage. 3.3.10 Die shear strength test. When tested in accordance with 4.9, shall meet the criteria for termination adhesion in the test method

    20、. 3.3.11 Solderability. When resistors are tested as specified in 4.10, they shall meet the criteria for surface mount leadless components in the test method. Cover: Alumina ceramic. c. Mounting flange: Copper, nickel plated as specified in SAE ASM-QQ-N-290. d. Tab: Beryllium copper, go

    24、ld plated as specified in SAE ASM 2422. The tabs shall meet the solderability test of MIL-STD-202, method 208. 3.5 Marking. Marking is not required on the resistor; however each unit package shall be marked with the PIN assigned (see 1.2), manufacturers identification code, and date and lot codes. M

    25、anufacturers which use beryllium oxide in their construction shall mark each resistor package with the symbol “BeO”. 3.6 Recycled, recovered, or environmentally preferable materials. Recycled, recovered, or environmentally preferable materials should be used to the maximum extent possible provided t

    26、hat the material meets or exceeds the operational and maintenance requirements, and promotes economically advantageous life cycle costs. 3.7 Certificate of compliance. A certificate of compliance shall be required from manufacturers requesting to be a suggested source of supply. 3.8 Workmanship. Res

    27、istors shall be uniform in quality and free from defects that will affect life, serviceability, or appearance. The product assurance program specified in MIL-PRF-55342 and maintained in accordance with MIL-STD-790 is not applicable to this document. 4.2 Qualification inspection. Qualification inspection is not applicable to this document. 4.3 Product l

    29、evel qualification. The product level qualification specified in MIL-PRF-55342 is not applicable to this document. 4.4 Conformance inspection. 4.4.1 Inspection of product for delivery. Inspection of product for delivery shall consist of group A and group B inspections as specified in table II and ta

    30、ble III. 4.4.1.1 Group A inspection. Group A inspection shall consist of the inspections specified in table II. Tests shall be performed on a production lot basis on 100 percent of product supplied under this document. Lots failing any part of the group A inspection shall not be supplied to this dra

DC resistance shall be tested in accordance with MIL-PRF-55342. 4.7 Thermal shock. Thermal shock shall be tested in accordan

    35、ce with MIL-PRF-55342. 4.8 Power conditioning. Resistors shall be tested in accordance with method 108 of MIL-STD-202. The following details and exceptions shall apply: a. Test temperature: 100C defined as the maximum flange temperature with the resistor mounted on a heat sink. b. Voltage: 22.36 V d

    36、c. c. Duration of test: 96 hours. d. DC resistance shall be measured before and after completion of tests and meet the requirements of 3.3.7. The resistors shall be tested in accordance with method 2019.2 of MIL-STD-883, except the attachment strength shall be 5 kg minimum. 4.10 Solderability. Solderability shall be tested in accordance with MIL-PRF-55342. 5. PACKAGING

    38、5.1 Packaging. For acquisition purposes, the packaging requirements shall be as specified in the contract or order (see 6.2). When packaging of materiel is to be performed by DoD or in-house contractor personnel, these personnel need to contact the responsible packaging activity to ascertain packagi

    39、ng requirements. Packaging requirements are maintained by the Inventory Control Points packaging activities within the Military Service or Defense Agency, or within the military services system commands. Packaging data retrieval is available from the managing Military Departments or Defense Agencys

    40、automated packaging files, CD-ROM products, or by contacting the responsible packaging activity. 6. NOTES (This section contains information of a general or explanatory nature that may be helpful, but is not mandatory.) 6.1 Intended use. These resistors are intended for use in thin film circuits whe

    41、re high power amplifiers are needed. 6.2 Ordering data. The contract or purchase order should specify the following: a. Complete PIN (see 1.2). b. Requirements for delivery of one copy of the conformance inspection data or certification of compliance that parts have passed conformance inspection wit

    42、h each shipment of parts by the manufacturer. c. Requirements for packaging and packing. 6.3 Safety precautions. CAUTION: These devices use beryllium oxide ceramics in their construction. Any mechanical or chemical treatment of these ceramics which produces dust or fumes even in minute amounts can b

    43、e deadly. Care should be taken to ensure that all those who handle, use, or dispose of these devices are aware of its nature and of the necessary safety precaution. In particular it should never be thrown out with general industrial or domestic waste. 6.4 Users of record. Coordination of this docume
