    4、on, International Standard ISO 17993 as a European Standard.The responsible German body involved in its preparation was the Normenausschuss Wasserwesen (WaterPractice Standards Committee).Expert assistance and specialized laboratories will be required to perform the analysis described in thisstandar

    5、d.Depending on the objective of the analysis, a check shall be made on a case-by-case basis as to whetherand to what extent additional conditions will have to be specified.The following should be noted.Re subclause 4.3, 3rd paragraphSeparation between dibenzo(a,h)anthracene and indeno(1,2,3-cd)pyren

    9、e and indenopyrene, the column should have a theoretical plate number of not lessthan 12000 and the peak asymmetry should be between 0,8 and 1,2 (theoretical plate number and peakasymmetry can only be established for isocratic systems). See the relevant HPLC literature for more details.Re subclause

    10、8.6.4The sequence for routinely checking the calibration function has found to be too low. Checks should be madeafter every three to five samples. Where necessary, the theoretical retention times and switching times for thewavelength mode are to be made to suit the actual retention times.Standard me
