11、Civil Engineering Standards Committee). This document is the National Annex to DIN EN 1996-3:2010-12, Eurocode 6: Design of masonry structures Part 3:Simplified calculation methods for unreinforced masonry structures. European Standard EN 1996-3:2006 allows national safety parameters, referred to as
12、 Nationally Determined Parameters (NDPs), to be specified for a number of points. The NDPs cover alternative verification methods, the provision of individual values and the selection of classes from designated classification systems. The relevant parts of the text are identified in the European Sta
13、ndard by references to the possibility of national choice and are listed in Clause NA.2.1. This National Annex also includes non-contradictory complementary information (NCI) for the application of DIN EN 1996-3:2010-12 National paragraphs are preceded by the letters NA and the paragraph number in b
14、rackets. This National Annex is an integral part of DIN EN 1996-3:2010-12. Amendments This document differs from DIN 1053-1:1996-11 and DIN 1053-100:2007-09 as follows: a) the simplified design method is summarized in Part 3; b) the standard has been restructured; c) reference is made to characteris

17、unreinforced masonry that are to be taken into account when applying DIN EN 1996-3:2010-12 in Germany. This National Annex is only valid in conjunction with DIN EN 1996-3:2010-12. DIN EN 1996-3/NA:2012-01 6 Re 4 Design of unreinforced masonry walls using simplified calculation methods NDP re 4.1(1)P General An analysis of the structural stability is not required if adequate stiffness is provided by floors designed as rigid diaphragms or by adequ
27、ately designed ring beams and if there is a sufficient number of shear walls that are located in both directions of the building and ultimately rest on the foundations, provided that the cross-section of such walls does not undergo any major changes. For masonry made of high-precision elements in wh
28、ich the elements have an overlap lolof less than 0,4 hu, any reduction in the shear resistance due to high surcharges shall be taken into account unless the structural stability of the building is analyzed. Where there is uncertainty as to whether adequate stiffness of the structure is ensured, the
29、shear resistance shall be verified by calculation in accordance with the detailed method described in DIN EN 1996-1-1:2010-12, 6.2, in conjunction with the relevant National Annex. NCI re 4.2.1.1 General conditions The following paragraphs have been added to subclause 4.2.1.1: (NA.2) For solid and p
30、erforated units in accordance with DIN EN 1996-1-1/NA:2012-01, NCI re 3.1.1, NA.5, the simplified calculation methods may be used provided the following criteria and the criteria given in Table NA.2 are satisfied: The height of the building above ground level does not exceed 20 m; for buildings with
31、 pitched roofs, the height can be taken to be the mean of the ridge height and the eaves height above ground level; the span l of the floors resting on the walls does not exceed 6,0 m unless the bending moments at the floor/wall junctions are limited by structural means e.g. by provision of centring
32、 elements. In the case of two-way spanning floors, the smaller span shall be used in the calculations. If there are vertical chases or recesses in the middle third of the wall height, causing a reduction in the str
38、ength of the wall, t shall be taken to be the residual thickness of the wall or otherwise a free edge shall be assumed. If the residual thickness of a wall, irrespective of the location of vertical chases or recesses, is less than half the wall thickness or less than 115 mm, a free edge shall be ass

44、pressure into account. The provisions for filling and compacting the working space stated in DIN EN 1996-2/NA:2012-01, Annex NA.E (3) apply. 46、walls of buildings not greater than 3 storeys With the exception of A.3, the informative Annex A is adopted as a normative annex. A.3 does not apply in Germany. When applying Annex A, the minimum wall thickness shall be 30 cm and the coefficient cAshall be taken as 0,45 in the case of floors support
47、ed over part of the width of a wall. For floors supported over the full width of a wall, the coefficient cAmay be taken as 0,7 provided that hef/tefdoes not exceed 10. NCI re Annex B Simplified calculation method for the design of internal walls not subject to vertical loads and with limited lateral
48、 load The normative Annex B is adopted as a normative annex without any modifications. It applies to spaces designed for small gatherings of people in which the lateral imposed load on the wall does not exceed 0,5 kN/m in accordance with DIN EN 1991-1-1/NA:2010-12, Table 6.12DE, 1st line, provided t
49、hat solid and perforated masonry units complying with DIN EN 1996-1-1/NA:2012-01, NCI re 3.1.1, (NA.5) are used.
