National foreword This standard includes safety requirements. This standard has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 147

    5、 “Cranes Safety” (Secretariat: BSI, United Kingdom), Working Group WG 17 “Power driven winches and hoists” (formerly: CEN/TC 147 WGP 7; since 2009: CEN/TC 147/WG 17). The responsible German body involved in its preparation was the Normenausschuss Maschinenbau (Mechanical Engineering Standards Commit

    6、tee), Coordinating Committee CEN/TC 147 ISO/TC 96 Krane. This standard contains specifications meeting the essential requirements set out in Annex I of the “Machinery Directive”, Directive 98/37/EC, (valid until 28 December 2009) and the “revised Machinery Directive”, Directive 2006/42/EC, which tak

    7、es effect on 29 December 2009, and which apply to machines that are either first placed on the market or commissioned within the EEA. This standard serves to facilitate proof of compliance with the essential requirements of the directives. Once this standard is cited in the Official Journal of the E

    8、uropean Union, it is deemed a “harmonized” standard and thus, a manufacturer applying this standard may assume compliance with the requirements of the Machinery Directive (“presumption of conformity”). It should be noted that the term “crane” as in this standard includes all machines for cyclic lift

    9、ing, or cyclic lifting and handling, of loads suspended on hooks or other load lifting attachments. This means that this standard applies to all other equipment, such as winches, which meets this definition. The International and European Standards referred to in this document have been published as

    10、 the corresponding DIN EN or DIN EN ISO Standards with the same number. 2 DIN EN 14492-2:2010-05 Amendments This standard differs from DIN EN 14492-2:2007-04 as follows: a) Normative references have been updated. b) The requirement for the marking of control devices has been added, see 5.2.1. c) The

    11、 requirement for the emergency stop function has been added, see 5.2.3. d) Requirements for safety-related functions of controls have been brought in line with EN ISO 13849-1, see 5.2.5. e) The requirement for friction torque limiters has been modified, see Table 5. f) Requirements for user informat

    12、ion regarding sound pressure level and marking have been modified, see 7.2 and 7.3. g) Requirements for hoists intended for transporting hot molten masses have been added, see Annex B. h) Annexes F (rated load) and K (noise test code) have been modified. i) Some corrections have been made in the for
