This standard has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 271, “Surface treatment equipment Safety” (Secretariat: DIN, Germany). The responsible Ge

This standard contains specifications meeting the essential requirements set out in Annex I of the new “Machinery Directive”, Directive 2006/42/EC, and which apply to machines that are either first placed on the market or commissioned within the E
8、EA. This standard serves to facilitate proof of compliance with the essential requirements of the directives. Once this standard is cited in the Official Journal of the European Union, it is deemed a “harmonized” standard and thus, a manufacturer applying this standard may assume compliance with the
9、 requirements of the Machinery Directive (“presumption of conformity”). The European Standards referred to in this document have been published as the corresponding DIN EN or DIN EN ISO Standards with the same number. The machinery concerned and the extent to which hazards, hazardous situations
42、and events are covered are indicated in the scope of this standard. When provisions of this type C standard are different from those which are stated in type A or B standards, the provisions of this type C standard take precedence over the provisions of the other standards, for machines that have be
43、en designed and built according to the provisions of this type C standard. DIN EN 12581:2011-02 EN 12581:2005+A1:2010 (E) 7 1 Scope 1.1 This European Standard applies to the design and construction of machinery for dip coating and electrodeposition of organic liquid coating material to industrial it
44、ems. This machinery consists of the following equipment: Transport system including hoists; Dip tank and safety tank; forced ventilation system; ancillary equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters. This European Standard deals with the significant hazards, hazardous situations and events relevant to
45、 dip and electrophoretic coating machinery when they are used as intended and under the conditions foreseen by the manufacturer (see Clause 4). In addition, the equipment marking and minimum use requirements are specified. 1.2 This European Standard does not cover: automatic loading and unloading sy
46、stems; lifting accessories; dip and electrophoretic coating tanks without any technical devices such as enclosure, lip extractions, pumps, heaters; machinery for organic liquid coating material preparation, supply and draining systems (e.g. pumps); water and waste liquids treatment machinery; dip an
