    9、is standard differs from DIN 863-1:1999-04 as follows: a) this edition now only covers limit values for errors of measurement; b) terminology has been brought in line with DIN EN ISO 3611; c) the title of the standard has been changed to reflect the modified content; d) external micrometers with 0,0

    10、01 mm scale intervals or digital increments have been included; e) the standard has been editorially revised. Previous editions DIN 863: 1925-04, 1928-04, 1956-02 DIN 863-1: 1977-11, 1983-10, 1999-04 1) In preparation. DIN 863-1:2017-02 4 Introduction DIN 863-1 has been fully revised in response to

    11、the publication of DIN EN ISO 3611:2011-03, which is a concept standard that only specifies requirements for the most important design and metrological characteristics. The limit values for errors of measurement are no longer included in DIN EN ISO 3611, although German industry had argued against t

    12、he deletion of these values. To ensure German industry continues to have access to the limit values for metrological characteristics, this new edition of DIN 863-1 has been published, which contains only the limit values for the errors of measurement. The limit values for errors of measurement given

    13、 in this standard were specified in DIN 863-1:1983-10 before the publication of DIN EN ISO 14253-1 and adopted unchanged in DIN 863-1:1999-04, not taking into account DIN EN ISO 14253-1. With these limit values, proof of conformity with specifications as required in DIN EN ISO 14253-1:2013-12, 5.2 i

    14、s normally not possible using the available test methods. For this reason, the method of proving conformity with the specification laid down in ISO/TR 14253-6:2012-11 has been specified here. DIN 863-1:2017-02 5 1 Scope This standard specifies limit values for errors of measurement for external micr

They are indicated here as a single value. The doubling of the limit of error MPE is not an option, as the se

    25、tting of the display is to be permissible at any point, even at an extreme value. 5 Conformity with specifications This standard does not require proof of conformity with specifications in accordance with DIN EN ISO 14253-1:2013-12. Instead, proof of conformity with the specification (see 4.3) is to be provided on the basis of simple acceptance as in ISO/TR 14253-6:2012-11.
