19、Scope This standard specifies the following: a) safety and hygienic requirements for and requirements regarding the use of ready-for-use beverage dispense systems, components and component assemblies; b) the testing and inspection of ready-for-use beverage dispense systems, components and component
20、assemblies (referred to below as “test object(s)”) to verify conformity with the safety and hygienic requirements of the relevant standards and other technical rules, and the procedures for conducting these tests/inspections as part of factory production control or third-party inspection by a test l

43、or the intended use and comply with the provisions of relevant foodstuffs legislation, particularly European Regulations 1935/2004 and 10/2011. NOTE Monomers which are permitted in accordance with foodstuffs legislation are listed in Table 1 “Union list of authorised monomers.” of EU Regulation 10/2
44、011. 4.1.2 Mechanical stresses Materials shall safely withstand, and remain leak tight when subjected to, mechanical stresses encountered when dispense systems for draught beverages are installed and operated. 4.1.3 Thermal stresses Materials shall safely withstand, and remain leak tight when subjec
45、ted to, thermal stresses. DIN 6650-5:2014-12 9 4.1.4 Chemical stresses Materials shall safely withstand, and remain leak tight when subjected to, the chemical action of the media to which they are exposed (beverages, syrups, drinking water with or without carbonation, cleaning and disinfecting agent
46、s, or other substances used for or generated during the operation of the system). 4.2 Additional material requirements 4.2.1 General In addition to conforming with the general requirements (see 4.1), all components shall be made of sufficiently corrosion-resistant materials and, where necessary, sha
47、ll be protected by a suitable means (e.g. coating or sealing). 4.2.2 High polymers Highly polymerized materials (e.g. plastics, rubber or paints and varnishes for coating) shall comply with the relevant recommendations on the assessment of the health effects of high polymers. 4.2.3 Joining materials
48、 Filler metals for welding, brazing and other joining materials shall comply with the relevant standards and guidelines. 4.2.4 Coatings and linings in areas in contact with the product Coating and lining materials shall only be used in areas in contact with the product if they provide a continuous, uniform and durable coating or lining. 5 Safety requirements for system components 5.1 General System components shall be designed so that they remain functional and leak tight and shall safely withstand all physical
