Procedure The splitting test is carried out in the stand- lo 15 !- ard atmos here according to Section 4. The test

The splitting wedge ia brought to bear full-width on the test specimen, care being taken to enaure that it is oeitioned as accu- rately as possible in the middle of the test epecimen and parallel with the Payers (see Figure 2: The Splitt
