Sustaining memberships represent a major source of income for CSAs standards development activities. in support of and as an extension to its standards development activities. To en

    7、sure the integrity of its certification process, the Association regularly and continually audits and inspects products that bear the CSA Mark. Toronto, CSA has regional branch offices in major centres across Canada and inspection and testing agencies in eight countries. Since 191 9, the Association

    19、 Standardization) Standard 6687:1994 (second edition, 1 994-1 0-01 ), developed by the IS0 Technical Committee ISO/TC 127. It supersedes the previous edition published in 1992 (adopted IS0 6687-1 982). This Standard is part of a series of Standards dealing with forestry winches used in tree harvesti

    20、ng machines. The adoption of this IS0 Standard as a National Standard of Canada recognizes the acceptance of international design data and definitions for machines traded on a worldwide basis. This Standard was reviewed for Canadian adoption by the CSA Technical Committee on Mobile Forestry Machiner

    21、y under the jurisdiction of the Strategic Steering Committee on Occupational Health and Safety, and has been formally approved by the Technical Committee.     30、ments, drum storage capacity, line pull and line speed for winches used in tree harvesting machines. 2 Definitions For the purposes of this International Standard, the following definitions apply (see figure I and table 1). 2.1 barrel. barrel diameter, D,: Diameter of the cable drum 2.2 fJange diame

The formula for calculation of K is based on uniform cable winding and will not give correct figures if cable is wound non-uniform

    39、ly on the cable drum. 3.3 Line pull 3.3.1 Bare drum and full drum Line pull, F, in newtons, shall be calculated using the following formulae: a) Bare drum line pull: 2 000 x T x R x q F= D, +d b) Full drum line pull: 2 000 x T x R x q F= *z - (*h3 + 4 NOTE 2 exceeded in the specification for the lin

The breaking strength of the cable used may be 3.3.2 Rated line pull of winch The rated line pull of the winch is the maximum ap- proved bare drum line pull as specified by the manu- facturer and calculated in accordance with 3.3.1. 3.3.3 Maximum calculated line pull of installed winch The m

    41、aximum bare drum line pull shall be calculated in accordance with 3.3.1 and one or a combination of the following conditions. a) When the torque on the input shaft is influenced by a torque converter, it is calculated for a stail condition while the engine is at full governor con- trol position. b)

    42、When the torque on the input shaft is influenced by the transmission gear ratios, it is calculated for maxjrnum engine torque with the transmission in the gear giving the highest line pull. c) When the torque on the input shaft is influenced by a fixed gear ratio only, it is calculated for maximum e
