    36、012CAN/CSA-M23205:12Agricultural tractors Instructional seatCSA PrefaceThis is the first edition of CAN/CSA-M23205, Agricultural tractors Instructional seat , which is an adoption, with Canadian deviations, of the identically titled ISO (International Organization for Standardization) Standard 23205

    37、 (first edition, 2006-08-15).In concert with ANSI/ASABE AD23205:2006, Agricultural tractors Instructional seat , the following modifications have been made to this ISO Standard for use in North America:(a) In addition to instructional seats used on agricultural tractors, the scope of the Standard in

    38、cludes instructional seats used on self-propelled agricultural machinery.(b) In addition to ISO 5353, the Standard also references the ISO 3776 series of Standards on seat belts for agricultural machinery.(c) Clause 4.7: Replace with “A restraint system meeting the requirements of ISO 3776-1, ISO 37

    39、76-2, and ISO 3776-3 shall be provided.”(d) Clause 4.9: Replace with “A safety sign indicating the required use of the seat belt shall be provided and positioned so as to be in view of the person seated in the instructional seat.”(e) Clause 4.10: The following has been added to the required informat

    40、ion in the operators manual listed in ISO 23205: “hazards identified with instructional seat use, such as falling from the machine and obstruction of the operators view.”The adoption of this ISO Standard, in conjunction with the endorsement of the three-part series of ISO 3776 Standards on seat belt

    41、 systems, is an important step in setting criteria for uniform requirements for instructional seats in agricultural machinery throughout North America. It should be noted, as stated in the scope of this Standard, that these instructional seats are not intended for use by children.This Standard is re

    42、lated to and integrated with CSA B352.0-09, Roll-over protective structures (ROPS), falling object protective structures (FOPS), operator protective structures (OPS), and tip-over protective structures (TOPS) for mobile machinery General Canadian requirements , and other CSA Standards in the ROPS/TO
