    28、ld Hot Water Service. This Standard covers electrically, gas-fired, and oil-heated storage tanks. It supersedes the first edition published in August 1977, shall be the standard. It has been approved as a National Standard of Canada by the Standards Council of Canada. Dimensions have been converted to SI (metric) units, whic

    40、st be prescribed by the CSA Certification Division in addition to the technical requirements contained in Standards of CSA. In addition to markings specified in the Standard the CSA Certification and Testing Division may require special cautions, markings and instructions that are not specified by t

    41、he Standard. Some tests required by CSA Standards may be inherently hazardous. The Association neither assumes nor accepts any responsibility for any injury or damage that may occur during or as the result of tests, wherever performed, whether performed in whole or in part by the manufacturer or the

Requirements are given for base metal, construction, glass lining, cathodic protection, inspection, and testing. 1.2 This Standard co

    47、vers glass-lined storage tanks at the point of manufacture, having 610 mm (24 in) inside diameter and less, with a maximum working pressure of 1034 kPa (150 psi), and subject to maximum input limitations as follows: (a) electric-single element, 4500 W; (b) electric-double element, 4500 W upper, 4500

    48、 W lower, flip flop circuit (alternate operation): (c) oil-fired-2.84 L/h (0.75 US gal/h) or less: and (d) gas-fired-less than 21 980 W (75 000 Btuh). 1.3 The values given in SI (metric) units are the standard.
