    1、 CAN/CGSB-98.1-2011Supersedes CAN/CGSB-98.1-2003National Flag of Canada (Outdoor use)ICS 99.020.10National Standard of CanadaThe CANADIAN GENERAL STANDARDS BOARD (CGSB), under whose auspices this National Standard of Canada has been developed is a government agency within Public Works and Government

    2、 Services Canada. CGSB is engaged in the production of voluntary standards in a wide range of subject areas through the media of standards committees and the consensus process. The standards committees are composed of representatives of relevant interests including producers, consumers and other use

    3、rs, retailers, governments, educational institutions, technical, professional and trade societies, and research and testing organizations. Any given standard is developed on the consensus of views expressed by such representatives. CGSB has been accredited by the Standards Council of Canada as a nat

    4、ional standards-development organization. The standards that it develops and offers as National Standards of Canada conform to the criteria and procedures established for this purpose by the Standards Council of Canada. In addition to standards it publishes as national standards, CGSB produces stand

    5、ards to meet particular needs, in response to requests from a variety of sources in both the public and private sectors. Both CGSB standards and CGSB national standards are developed in conformance with the policies described in the CGSB Policy Manual for the Development and Review of Standards. CGS

    6、B standards are subject to review and revision to ensure that they keep abreast of technological progress. Suggestions for their improvement, which are always welcome, should be brought to the notice of the standards committees concerned. Changes to standards are issued either as separate amendment

    7、sheets or in new editions of standards. An up-to-date listing of CGSB standards, including details on latest issues and amendments, and ordering instructions, is found in the CGSB Catalogue, which is published annually and is available without charge upon request. Although the intended primary application of this standard is stated in its Scope, it is important to note that it remains the responsibility of the users of the standard to judge its suitability for their particular purpose. A1.3 under the follow

    26、ing conditions:Use a hemispherical spectrophotometer or spectrocolorimeter -1with 0/d or d/0 geometry or with 8/d or d/8 geometry with the specular (mirror reflection) component excluded. For each location, use four layers of fabric with the same face over a matte black -2(Y or luminous reflectance

    27、of no more than 4%) opaque background for red and use the number of layers arrived at following the AATCC evaluation procedure for the white colour.On the same flag face, measure, at two locations, each of the three red areas (panels), making two -measurements (at 0 and 90) at each location. Calcula

    28、te the average of the twelve measurements.On the same surface, measure four locations of the white area, making two measurements (at 0 - and 90) at each location. Calculate the average of the eight measurements.Colour tolerance5.2.1.2 The variation from Table 1 of the averaged measurements for each

    29、colour (clause 5.2.1), calculated in accordance with ASTM D2244 and expressed in commercial factor (cf), shall be no more than 3.0 units E CMC(2:1).Colour difference between faces5.2.2 Colour measurement of the two faces of the Flag5.2.2.1 Measurement of the difference in colour between the two face

    30、s of the flag shall be the same as in clauses 5.2.1 and 5.2.2.1, except that one layer of sample over a matte black2 (Y or luminous reflectance of no more than 4%) opaque background is used during measurement of both red and white areas. Colour tolerance between the two faces of the Flag5.2.2.2 The
