    18、estsandmachiningtestsonvertical spindle,singlecolumntypecoordinatedrillingandboringmachines.Italsospecifiestheapplicabletolerances correspondingtotheabove-mentionedtests. Itshouldbenotedthat,besidesdrillingandboringoperations,itmaybepossibletocarryoutlightmilling operationswiththesemachines.However,

    19、thispartofISO3686doesnotdealwithjigboringmachinesor machiningcentres. ThispartofISO3686dealsonlywiththeverificationoftheaccuracyofthemachine.Itdoesnotapplytothetesting ofthemachineoperation(vibrations,abnormalnoises,thestick-slipmotionofcomponents,etc.),northemachine characteristics(suchasspeeds,fee

    20、ds,etc.),whichshouldgenerallybecarriedoutbeforetestingtheaccuracy. ThispartofISO3686providestheterminologyusedfortheprinciplecomponentsofthemachineandindicatesthe designationoftheaxesinaccordancewithISO841. 2 Normativereference Thefollowingnormativedocumentcontainsprovisionswhich,throughreferenceint

    29、nowaydefinesthepracticalorderof testing.Inordertomakethemountingofinstrumentsorgaugingeasier,testsmaybeperformedinanyorder. 4.4 Teststobeperformed Whentestingamachine,itisnotalwaysnecessarynorpossibletocarryoutallthetestsdescribedinthispartof ISO3686.Whenthetestsarerequiredforacceptancepurposes,itis

    30、uptotheusertochoose,inagreementwith thesupplier/manufacturer,thosetestsrelatingtothecomponentsand/orthepropertiesofthemachinewhichareof interest.Thesetestsaretobeclearlystatedwhenorderingamachine. Itshouldbenotedthat,forturrethead-drillingmachines,allthegeometricteststhatconcerntherotationofthe spin

    31、dle,i.e.,testsG9,G10,G11andG12,shouldbecarriedoutonallspindles. 4.5 Measuringinstruments Themeasuringinstrumentsindicatedinthetestsdescribedinclauses5and6areexamplesonly.Other instrumentsmeasuringthesamequantitiesandhavingatleastthesameaccuracymaybeused.Dialgaugesshall havearesolutionof0,001mm. 4.6

    32、Minimumtolerance Whenthetoleranceforageometrictestisestablishedforameasuringlengthdifferentfromthatgiveninthispartof ISO3686(see2.311ofISO230-1:1996),itshallbetakenintoconsiderationthattheminimumvalueoftoleranceis 0,005mm. 4.7 Machiningtests Machiningtestsshallbemadewithfinishingcutsonly,notwithroug
