    18、ecifiesmethodsfortestingthenoiseofstationaryfloor-mountedmachinetoolsandrelated auxiliaryequipmentdirectlyontheshopfloor.Thepurposeofthemeasurementsistoobtainnoise-emissiondata formachinetools. Thedataobtainedmaybeusedforthepurposeofdeclarationandverificationofairbornenoiseemissionfrom machinetoolsa

    19、sspecifiedinISO4871,andalsoforthecomparisonoftheperformanceofdifferentunitsofagiven familyofmachinetoolsorequipment,underdefinedenvironmentalconditionsandstandardizedmountingand operatingconditions. ForthepurposesofthispartofISO230,“auxiliaryequipment”meanshydraulicpowerpacks,chipconveyors, coolant-

    20、oilmistextractors,heatexchangers,refrigerators,etc.Noiseemittedbycentrallyoperatedauxiliary equipment,connectedtoseveralmachinetools,shallbeconsideredasbackgroundnoise. Generalinstructionsaregivenfortheinstallationandoperationofthemachineundertestandforthechoiceof microphonepositionsfortheworkstatio

Clause12specifiesamethodformeasuringthesoundpressurelevelsonameasurementsurfaceenvelopingthe machinetoolandforcalculatingthesoundpowerlevelproducedbythemachinetool.Thismethodfollowsthe methodsspecifiedinISO3744andISO3746. Thedeterminationofthesoundpowerlevelonthebasisofthei

    23、ntensitymethod(ISO9614andISO9614-2)isnot dealtwithinthispartofISO230. 1.2 Typesofnoiseandnoisesources ThemethodsspecifiedinthispartofISO230aresuitableforalltypesofnoiseemittedbymachinetools. ThispartofISO230isapplicabletomachinetoolsofanytypeandsize,includingdevices,componentsandsub- assemblies. NOT

    26、thetrue valuesbyanamountwithintherangeoftherespectivemeasurementuncertainties.Theuncertaintiesin measurementsofemissionsoundpressurelevelsandindeterminationsofthesoundpowerlevelarisefrom severalfactorswhichaffecttheresults,someassociatedwithenvironmentalconditionsatthetestsiteandothers withexperimen

    27、taltechniques.ThispartofISO230dealswithmethodstodeterminetheemissionsoundpressure levelsandtheemissionsoundpowerlevel,wheretheresultsmeetgrade2accuracy(engineeringmethod)and grade3accuracy(surveymethod).Becauseofitshigheraccuracy,grade2shouldbeachievedwheneverpossible. Specificinformationonmeasureme
