    21、ndedtobeusedforthemeasurementofradiationdosestotheeyesand extremities(fingers,andlimbsdefinedashands,feet,forearmsincludingtheelbow,andlegincludingthepatella),for photonsfrom15keVto3MeVandbetaradiationfrom0,5MeVto3MeV.Itisconditionalupontheuseofan appropriatereader,proceduresandancillaryequipment.It

ThisInternationalStandardprovidesperformancecriteriaandtestsfordosemetersintendedtomeasuredose equivalentatdepthsof7mg cm 2 intissueforfingersandlimbsand300mg cm 2 intissuefortheeyes,including provisionfortheuseofdosemetersonlyintendedtobeusedonce.Appr

    23、opriatephantomsanddoseconversion coefficientsarerecommendedbutothersarenotprecluded.
