    28、ecifies the outline dimensions of transformers and inductors, using YUI-2 laminations, as specified below, built for the most commonly used forms of mounting style, namely vertical mounting and level mounting. The level mounting style is subdivided into bracket mounting, and pillar mounting and prin

    29、ted wiring board mounting variants. 2 Normative references The following normative documents contain provisions which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this part of IEC852. At the time of publication, the editions indicated were valid. All normative documents are subject to r

    30、evision, and parties to agreements based on this part of IEC852 are encouraged to investigate the possibility of applying the most recent editions of the normative documents indicated below. ISO 965, ISO general purpose metric screw threads Tolerances. 3 Laminations For the purpose of this part of IEC 852, the laminations shall conform to the dimensions of IEC type YUI-range 2 as prescribed in Table 17 of IEC740. 4 Assembly designation The designation of assembli

    33、es represented by this standard shall be as follows:EN60852-4:1996 4 BSI 11-1998 5 General requirements 5.1 Mounting styles The mounting styles specified below are based upon proven methods of assembly with metric type YUI-2 laminations. The data provided in clauses6 and7 give the main dimensions of

    34、: Dimensions A, B and C include an allowance for varnishing. Fixing screws shall be ISO metric screws having screw threads which are metric coarse and of medium fit in accordance with ISO965. Associated tapped holes shall comply with a 6H class of fit in accordance with ISO965. Fixing holes are clea

    35、rance holes having diameters taken from the medium series of ISO273, and screws of corresponding size shall be used for mounting. Where slotted fixing holes are used, their width shall equal the stated value of G, and their length shall not exceed 1,8 G. All the listed dimensions in this standard ar

    36、e in millimetres. 5.2 Stack heights A range of stack heights is specified, which allows continuous variations of power rating, although the square stack is preferred. The increment of stack height follows the R10 series of preferred numbers, as defined in ISO3, as a multiple of the width of the limb

    37、s of the lamination. A suffix letter is used to designate the appropriate stack size as shown inTable 1.     42、tions which can be compensated by slotted holes in the fixing brackets. The dimensions, except where indicated as maximum or nominal, shall have tolerances in accordance with the requirements of ISO286-1. NOTEThe appropriate tolerance is shown at the head of each column of dimensions in the followin

    43、g tables. 6 Vertical mounting style The dimensions for the vertical mounting style shall be as given inTable 3, corresponding to the cores using, square stacks assembled from laminations YUI2-20d to YUI2-80d, in accordance with the outline drawing ofFigure 1. If stack heights other than the preferre

    44、d square stack are used, these shall follow the R 10 series given inTable 1. In this case the appropriate dimensions are obtained by increasing or decreasing the values by the same amount as the stack height S is changed. 7 Level mounting style The dimensions for the level mounting style shall be as

    45、 given inTable 4, Table 5 andTable 6, corresponding to cores using square stacks assembled from laminations YUI2-10d to YUI2-80d, in accordance with the outline drawings ofFigure 2,Figure 3 and Figure 4, respectively, according to whether the bracket, pillar or printed wiring board mounting version

    46、is required. If stack heights other than the preferred square stack are used, these shall follow the R10 series given inTable 1.
