Theyshallbecompatibleamongthemselves,withthewatersuppliedandwiththefluidsorsubstancesthatcan comeintocontactwiththem. Therearenospecialrequirementsconcerningthematerialsused

    30、downstreamoftheatmosphericoutletopening providedtheydonothaveanyharmfuleffectontheupstreampart. 7Requirements 7.1General Theprotectionassemblycomprisesfourpartsintegralwithoneanother: waterinletdevice; receiving vessel (container); airinletorifice; overflow. 7.2 Waterinletdevice Everyfloatoperatedva

    31、lveorotherdevice,whichcontrolstheinflowofwatertoreceivingvessel,shallbesecurely andrigidlyfixedtothatvessel. Everyfeedpipesupplyingwatertosuchavalveorotherdeviceshallbefixedinitspositiontopreventitfrom movingorbuckling. Theairinletorificeshallnotcomeintocontactinanywaywithaproductfromdownstream;itsh

    32、allalwaysbeabove themaximumlevel H. Adjustableordismantleablejointstosubmergedsupplypipestotheinletdevicearenotpermittedbelowthecritical level.Submergedsupplypipesshallbemadefromcorrosionresistantmaterialsandbepressuretestedaspartof theinletdevice. 7.3 Overflowarrangement Theoverflowarrangementsshal

    33、lnotbelessthan19mminternaldiameter. Theoverflowarrangementsshallincludeanairbreakpriortoaconnectiontodrain.Anairbreaktodrainshall complywiththerequirementsofEN1717,excludingWCs. 7.4 Airgap(distance) 7.4.1Single supply ForairgapsFamilyA,typeCthecriticalwaterlevelshallbeestablishedandtheairgapdistance
