Threespecimensaretobetestedforeachtestcondition,18specimensinall.Thetestparametersaresummarised inTable1.OthertesttemperaturesinadditiontothoselistedinTable1maybeagreed.EN126181:2003(E) 6 Thespecimensconsistofcubesmadeofreferencet

    30、ypesofconcreteasspecifiedbyEN1766,withcracksof definedwidth.Theconcretespecimensaremadeinsteelforms(seeFigures1,2and3)placedonavibrating table.Theconcreteiscastthroughanopeningintheuppersteelplateoftheform.FourM12bolts(Table2:11) andoneM24screw(Table2:9)arefixedinthelowerplatebeforefillingtheformwit

    31、hconcrete.Afterfillingthe form,theconcreteiscompactedandanotherfourM12bolts(Table2:11)arefixedthroughtheupperplate.The threescrewedtubes(Table2:10)withasteelbradinside(Table2:12)(protectionagainstfreshconcrete penetration)arepushedintotheconcrete,thenthefinalcompactionofconcreteisdone. Thefilledform

    32、sarethenmaintainedat(21 2)Cand(60 10)%relativehumidity. Thesteelsidesheetsoftheforms(Table2:5+6)andthesteelbradsareremovedaftertwodays,thespecimens arefittedwithmeasuringplatesonallsidesandazeromeasurementismadewiththedisplacementgaugeinthe uncrackedstate(crackwidthw=0). Atanageof3days,acrackisinduc

    33、edinthespecimenbysplitting(seeFigure6),afterthenutsofthethreaded boltsM16(Table2:7)havebeenloosenedatoneside.ThenthecrackwidthdefinedinTable1issetbyadjusting theboltnutsM16andthenutsaresecuredwithlockingnuts(Table2:7). Eachconcretespecimenisthenenclosedinarubberstrip(Table2:13),fixedwithanadhesive,a

    34、ndareusable crownmadeofsteel(Table2:14). Thecrackwidthbeforeinjectionismeasuredwiththedisplacementgauge. 4.3.2 Injectionprocedure Atanageof7to10daysthespecimenshallbepreparedforinjection(seeFigure7). Thespecimenandtheinjectionproductshallbeconditionedat(21 2)Cfor48hoursbeforeinjection. Theinjections

    35、hallbeperformedfortwocrackwidths(0,3mmand0,5mm)inthreedifferentmoisturestatesofthe crack:W(waterfilled),M(moist)andD(dry).EachmoisturestateisobtainedasdescribedinTable1Test conditions. Foreachsituation(crackwidthmoisturestate),threespecimensshallbeinjected. Thetwocomponentsoftheinjectionproductshall

    36、bemixedaccordingtothemanufacturersinstructions. Theinjectiontakesplaceviathecentraltubeofthecrownedspecimens. Theinjectionpressureismeasuredwiththepressuregauge,whichisfittedtooneofthesidetubes.Theotherside tubeisleftclearfortheventingofairorwater,andisclosedassoonasinjectionproductemerges. Injectio

    37、niscontinued,terminatingwhentheinjectionproductleaksoutundertherubberstriporwhentheinjection pressurereaches6MPa. Thecrackwidthafterinjectionismeasuredwiththedisplacementgauge. Theinjectedspecimensarestoredat(21 2)Cfor6days. 4.3.3 Measurementofadhesionandelongationcapacity Thecrownsandrubberstripsha

    38、llberemovedandtheinjectedspecimensprovidedwithfourdisplacement transducers(oneoneachside). Eachinjectedspecimenshallthenbeconditionedat(3 2)Cforatleast48hbeforethetest. Thespecimenshallbefittedintothetensiontestmachine(seeFigure8)withsufficientloadappliedtotakeupthe slackinthefittings. Amanualdispla

    39、cementmeasurementtakesplacewiththedisplacementgaugeoneachside;thisisthezero measurement,orinitialcrackwidthoneachside.EN126181:2003(E) 7 ThethreadedboltsM16areremovedinthistensionedstatewithsimultaneouslooseningofthenuts(Table2:7 and7a);thedeformation,ifany,linkedwiththeremovingofthethreadedboltsisr
