    17、tedKingdom.EN10511:2003(E) 4 Introduction Glassblocksareusedfortheconstructionofbuildingelementssuchasnonloadbearingwalls.Inthese applicationstheyarerequiredtoonlysupporttheirownweight,paralleltothevisiblefaces,andhorizontalloads generatedbywindandimpacts,perpendiculartothevisiblefaces. Glasspaversa

    18、reusedfortheproductionofreinforcedconcretepanelsincorporatingglasspanels.Thesepanels areusedinhorizontalapplicationsandmaybecapableoftakingvehiculartraffic.Theycanberegardedasanon structuralcomponent;i.e.theycarrytheirownweightandanyimposedloadperpendiculartothevisibleareas. 1 Scope ThisEuropeanStan
