It is similar to but not identical with ISO7736 “Road vehicles Car radio for front installation Installation space including connections”, published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). Changes have b
8、een made to Figure 1 and Figure 2 of that International Standard to permit fitment of some existing car radios and future equipment. The minimum lateral fixing installation dimension has been increased from188mm minimum to189.5mm minimum. The radius “R3max.” in the International Standard has been am
9、ended to “R4max.”. The dimension“5 1” in the International Standard has been changed to“5.5 0.5”. A British Standard does not purport to include all the necessary provisions of a contract. 11、will be indicated in the amendment table on the inside front cover.BSAU207:1986 BSI 02-2000 1 1 Scope This BritishStandard specifies the dimensions for the installation space and fixing areas required by car radio equipment and its electrical connections, including car radio equipment which is combi
12、ned with other sound reproduction equipment. General recommendations for installation spaces are given in Appendix A. 2 Dimensions of installation space and fixing areas 2.1 The dimensions for installation by front fixing shall be as shown in Figure 1. 2.2 The dimensions for installation by lateral
13、fixing shall be as shown in Figure 2. NOTEFront fixing or lateral fixing or a combination of front and lateral fixing may be used. 2.3 The dimensions for installation by additional rear fixing shall be as shown in Figure 3. NOTERear fixing may be provided in addition to the front and lateral fixings
14、. 3 Dimensions and position of port If a port is provided, it shall be positioned and its dimensions shall be as shown in Figure 3. A.2 It is recommended that the planned installation angle is not more than45
16、from the horizontal where the rear of the car radio slopes downward. A.3 In particular, ventilation of the space reserved for the car radio is recommended. Heating of the car radio due to the proximity of the heating system has to be avoided. A.4 All holes and apertures have to be free from sharp ed
