    28、dapprovalproceduresdefinedinISO9002.The purposeoftheseproceduresistoensurethatamanufacturerhasaqualitysystemandiscapableofcontinuous productionofsolidrivetscomplyingwiththespecifiedqualityrequirements. TheapprovalofthemanufacturershallbegrantedbytheCertificationAuthorities,ortheirappointedrepresenta

    29、tive, whomaybetheprimecontractor. 4.1.2 Acceptanceofsolidrivets Thepurposeofacceptanceinspectionandtestsofasolidrivetistocheck,assimplyaspossible,usingamethod whichisinexpensivebutthemostrepresentativeoftheactualconditionsofuse,withtheuncertaintyinherentin statisticalsampling,thatthesolidrivetssatis

    30、fytherequirementsofthisInternationalStandard. Acceptanceinspectionsandtestsshallbecarriedoutbythemanufacturer,orunderhisresponsibility. Themanufacturerisresponsibleforthequalityofthesolidrivetsmanufactured. 4.2 Acceptanceinspectionandtestconditions Acceptanceinspectionsandtests(requirements,methods,

    31、numbersofsolidrivets)arespecifiedinTable1.They shallbecarriedoutoneachbatch.Solidrivetsshallbeselectedfromthebatchtobetestedbysimplerandom sampling. Eachsolidrivetmaybesubmittedtoseveralinspectionsortests,providedthatnoneofitscharacteristicstobe verifiedhasbeenpreviouslyalteredduringanyoftheseinspec

    32、tionsortests. Thesolidrivetstobesubjectedtodestructiveinspectionsortestsmaybethoseonwhichnon-destructive inspectionsortestshavebeencarriedout. Batchesdeclaredunacceptableaftertheacceptanceinspectionshallberesubmittedforacceptanceonlyafterall thedefectiveunitshavebeenremovedand/ordefectshavebeencorre

    33、cted. Inthiscase,theattribute(s)whichcausedtherejectionshallbeverifiedusingasampleoftwicethenormalsize withthesameacceptancelimit. Ifthereasonforrejectionresultsfromthemethod,thetestapparatusorfromfaultyheattreatmentwhichcanbe rectifiedinasatisfactorymanner,thetestsmayberepeatedaftereliminationofthe

    34、cause,providedthatany BS A 352:20004 surfacetreatmentberemovedpriortoheattreatment,withoutbeingdetrimentaltorivetfinaluse.Anotetothis effectshallbeaddedtothecorrespondinginspectiondocuments. Unlessotherwisespecified,thetesttemperatureshallbetheambienttemperature. 4.3 Useof“Statisticalprocesscontrol(

    35、SPC)“ Whenacharacteristicisobtainedbyacontrolledstatisticalprocess,themanufacturerhasthepossibility,inorderto declareconformityofthecharacteristic,ofrefrainingfromthefinalsystematicsamplingprovidedforinthis InternationalStandard,ifheiscapableofformallyjustifyingthischoicebyusingISO/TR13425andthestan

    36、dards quotedinitasabasis. Thisjustificationwillincludethefollowingphases: analysisoftheproductskeycharacteristics; analysisoftherisksforeachimplementedprocess; determinationoftheparametersand/orcharacteristicstoberespectedunderSPC; determinationofthecapabilitiesofeachprocess; drawingupaninspectionpl

    37、anandintegrationinthemanufacturingprocess; drawingupofroutesandcontrolcharts(ISO7966,ISO7870,ISO8258); useofcontrolchartsfordataconsolidation; determinationoftheauditstoberunandthecontroltobecarriedouttoensurereliabilityofthedevice. Tobeusableinproduction,thisprocessshallbeorshouldbevalidatedbeforeh
