Abstract This standard covers the fire resistance characteristics of equipment assemblies and selected products and materials used within telecommunications network equipment facilities and spaces of similar function. This stand

    3、ard along with the latest published version of ATIS-0600319 shall be used as the means of appraising fire risk within a telecommunications network equipment facility or space with similar function. See 4.1.1 regarding requirements for items such as plugs, sockets, jacks, terminal blocks, etc., which may form part of an enclosure. 4.1.4 Interconnect Wire, Interconnect Optical Fiber, and Interconnect Optical Cables Interconnect wire refers to individual wires and cables, including optic

    24、al fiber and cables, that are totally contained within the equipment assembly Individual interconnect wire and cable (copper or other alloy) used within equipment assemblies shall satisfy the requirements of VW-1 as specified in UL 1581. Interconnecting optical fibers and optical cables shall satisf

    25、y one or more of the applicable items in 4.1.1 Any wire and cable exterior to an equipment assembly shall meet the requirements of 4.2. 4.2 Fire Spread Requirements for Wire ATIS-0600307.2018 6 CAN/CSA-C22.2 No. 0.3; or IEEE 1202. Examples of cable types meeting these requirements are: CM, CL2, CL3, OFN, OFC, MP, FPL, and CATV, in addition to those specified in 4.2.1 and 4.2.2. 4.2.4 AC-Powered Wiring the second value is based on three applications of the ignition source.
