Scope1.1 This specification co
3、vers needle roller bearings havingthick outer rings, with rollers and cages.1.2 The bearings being specified are intended to be usedwith hardened shafts (HRC58-65; see Test Methods E18). Foruse with unhardened shafts, bearings should be used inconjunction with inner bearing ring MS51962 as specified

Materials and Manufacture5.1 RollersRollers shall be manufactured of steel, alloy,grade E50100, E51100 o

25、.2 Bearings are intended to be installed on shafts wheremaximum taper does not exceed 0.0005 in. per inch (0.0005mm per mm) of bearing width.7.3 Bearing bore should be checked using a “go” plug gagethat is 0.0001 in. (0.0025 mm) less than the minimum diameterunder the needle rollers column of Table
26、1, and “no go” pluggage that is 0.0001 in. (0.0025 mm) larger than the maximumdiameter under the needle rollers column of Table 1. The “nogo” gage may enter 25 % of the roller length.7.4 One end of the bearing must clear the maximum housingfillet radius shown in the radius column of Table 1.Aminimum

Inspection10.1 Inspection of the product shall be agreed upon betweenthe purchaser and the supplier as part of the purchase contract.11. Rejection and Rehearing1
48、1.1 Products that fail to conform to the requirements of thisspecification may be rejected. Rejection should be reported tothe producer or supplier promptly and in writing. In case ofdissatisfaction with the results of the test, the producer orsupplier may make claim for rehearing.12. Certification1
49、2.1 When specified in the purchase order or contract, thepurchaser shall be furnished certification that samples repre-senting each lot have been either tested or inspected as directedin this specification and the requirements have been met.
