1、Designation: F 2165 02 (Reapproved 2008)An American National StandardStandard Specification forFlexible Pre-Insulated Piping1This standard is issued under the fixed designation F 2165; the number immediately following the designation indicates the year oforiginal adoption or, in the case of revision

2、, the year of last revision. A number in parentheses indicates the year of last reapproval. Asuperscript epsilon () indicates an editorial change since the last revision or reapproval.INTRODUCTIONThis specification covers materials and test methods for flexible, pre-insulated piping withnon-bonded i

3、nsulation. For the purpose of this standard, flexible pre-insulated piping system shallrefer to a piping system that is supplied complete with carrier pipe, thermal insulation, and outer jacketmanufactured as an integrated system, and is supplied in a coil. This specification covers therequirements,

4、 material specifications, and test methods of piping systems intended to convey hot andcold fluids. Piping systems may include one or more carrier pipes within a common outer jacket.1.
