Scope1.1 This guide covers and provides recommendations forthe selection of appropriate test methods for Ethylene Propyl-ene Diene Terpolymer (EPDM) geomembranes used in geo-technical and geoenvironmental applications.1.2 This guide includes

    4、 test methods for three differenttypes of EPDM geomembranes including; scrim-reinforcedmembranes, composite membranes and smooth, non-reinforced membranes.1.3 The test methods are divided into three categoriesincluding manufacturing quality control, optional performancetests and seam testing.1.4 The

    5、 values stated in either SI units or inch-pound unitsare to be regarded separately as standard. The values stated ineach system may not be exact equivalents; therefore, eachsystem shall be used independently of the other. Combiningvalues from the two systems may result in non-conformancewith the sta

    6、ndard.1.5 This standard does not purport to address all of thesafety problems, if any associated with its use.
